Rachel Roberts is a specialist in both strategic and operational communications. Her background as an acclaimed journalist and radio producer led to her leading Outlook Media, a communications, strategy and project management company specialising in strategic advice, public relations and long-term behaviour change aimed at benefiting individuals and New Zealand as a whole. 

She has also worked in not-for-profit organisations, business and government agencies including in philanthropy and NZ Search and Rescue.

Rachel’s interest in communication and thought-leadership has always informed the way she has approached her work. Her focused belief that achievable outcomes are made possible through clarity and practicality speak to her strength as a communicator, her ability to tell the stories of people, organisations and communities, and her drive to help them translate these into positive action for true community-led development.

She has been involved in a wide range of cross-sector projects and has been deeply involved in a wide range of activities, driving, consulting and supporting these to create effective and collaborative responses to issues and challenges.

Rachel lives with her husband and two teenage boys in Wellington, where they are involved in many different activities and organisations and feel lucky every day to be part of such a vibrant and unique community.
